- Both military affiliated and non-military affiliated members can become hosts on Crewdogs. While Crewdogs was built exclusively for the military community, we allow non-military affiliated members join, host, offer a discount, and support the military.
- As a Non-military affiliated host, referred to as a Patriot host, you have limited access to Crewdogs and cannot book. We still offer the same exceptional customer service and discounted fee structure as military affiliated hosts. Plus, donate to the selected Veteran cause.
- Vacation rentals, TDY crashpads, extra rooms, and even long-term rentals can all be found within the trusted military community network of Crewdogs.
- In addition to importing your Airbnb listing and connecting pricing, we allow almost any other type of listing. A room, an entire place, or multiple rooms within a single unit.
- From short-term to long-term, pricing options can range from a single amount, dynamic pricing, per diem matching that automatically applies GSA rates for appropriate stays, or even free stays using our Space-A program.
- We offer an industry low property protection plan for guest damages up to $1,000 for only $1 per night. Learn more
- Reimbursement claims can be easily filed with Crewdogs following any stay and quickly paid out.
- This protection plan does not replace a Host's homeowners insurance policy, which is your best defense for liability protection.
- However, traditional damage or security deposits can still be collected off-platform by hosts directly with guests.
- Crewdogs does not allow for instant bookings. Similar to Airbnb, we allow messaging, booking requests, and host special offers.
- Before a guest or tenant can message or request to stay with a host, they must be verified by ID.me or a military email.
- Flexible payment options include credit or debit card, or a bank account for guests/tenants.
- Crewdogs utilizes Stripe to securely collect and automatically payout payments to hosts.
- Crewdogs transfers payment for a confirmed booking request on the day of check-in. For stays over 30 days, Crewdogs transfers payment at the beginning each subsequent month. Please note that this may take 2-3 business days to appear in your account.
- Crewdogs does not remit taxes on behalf of hosts. We automatically populate tax categories for each listing, but it is ultimately the responsibility of the host to ensure taxes are applied and submitted to the proper tax authority at the end of each year.
- Crewdogs is not responsible for confirming the correct tax payments as required by each country, state, or county. Each host is responsible for paying taxes on their behalf.
- A payout history can be requested from Crewdogs when hosts are filing their taxes. Contact us if you have further questions on the tax obligations while using Crewdogs.
